Lavender (Lavandin Grosso)

We love all things lavender—as an essential oil, a hydrosol, and when infused into sunflower oil. In fact, we use lavender in nearly every product we create.

Why lavender? Lavender has a natural calming effect on the entire body. Known to reduce anxiety and inflammation, it naturally increases your body’s blood melatonin levels. Our 11-acre lavender farm is the largest in the U.S., and that’s where we proudly grow and source every lavender essential oil and hydrosol we use in our skin and hair care products.

What it does:

• Lavender Essential Oil:
  In the form of an essential oil, lavender contains high amounts of vitamins A and E, which moisturize your skin, but won’t clog your pores—all while stimulating collagen production. The antioxidants in the oil have amazing healing benefits that work to remove free radicals from your body and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, redness, and discoloration. In addition, since it’s naturally antibacterial and antifungal, your skin also stays clear of unwanted bacteria.
• Lavender Hydrosol:
  Intensely aromatic, lavender hydrosol is full of vitamin C and contains the same healing properties found in the essential oil. You can expect to see the hydration, healing, and regeneration of your skin—complete with the toning effects of constricting blood vessels, which controls redness. Lavender hydrosol’s antiseptic and antibacterial properties help lead to a fresh and youthful appearance all day long.
